The Criminal Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County is centered in The National Historic Landmark, the Allegheny County Courthouse at 436 Grant Street. Completed in 1888, it was designed by architect Henry Hobson Richardson.

The Honorable Jeffrey A. Manning is the Administrative Judge of the Criminal Division.

There are a total of 12 judges serving in the criminal division. Each year over 20,000 criminal cases are disposed by these judges in crimes ranging from simple misdemeanors to homicide.

The Criminal Division includes four departments: Adult Probation, Pretrial Services Agency, jury operations, and court support personnel.
