Welcome to Allegheny County Juvenile Probation!
Allegheny County Juvenile Probation is committed to implementing the principles
of Balanced and Restorative Justice: Community Protection, Victim Awareness and
Youth Competencies. Through our collaboration with numerous community groups and
organizations we are making a difference in Allegheny County. The biggest indicator
is our successful completion of probation rate, which continues to rise, proving
we are succeeding in accomplishing our goals.
- Youth are performing more community service then ever before
in an effort to give back to the community
- Youth are attending Victim Awareness classes - making the youth
accountable and sensitive to what their behavior does to not only the victim, but
their families and the communities where they live.
- We continue to develop competencies for our youth that will
enable them to become responsible, productive and tax paying members of our community.
