Once on the Administrative Office of the Pennsylvania Courts Common Pleas portal, you can search for the next court date by using several pieces of information. The most common are listed below and you should have them available when verifying your next court date:
- Docket Number – This is your Court of Common Pleas case number. You can find this from a subpoena you received from the Court, or on paperwork that your received at formal arraignment. (Example: CP-25-CR-1234567-2020)
- OTN – Offense Tracking Number. This will be on any of your criminal court paperwork and normally begins with a letter, followed by 6 numbers, a hyphen(-), and a final number. (Example: G 123456-7)
- Participant Name – you will need Last name, first name and date of birth (DOB) and some combination of the following; (a) County (b) Court Office (c) Docket type (d) case status or (e) date filed.
- SID – State Identification Number. This is the number assigned to you the first time you were fingerprinted on a criminal case. If you have this number, it will bring back any case currently assigned to you that has the SID number attached to it. This only applies to criminal case filings.
