Local Rules, Policies & Procedures

The Allegheny County Criminal Division Local Rules include every rule, administrative order, regulation, directive, and policy adopted by the Board of Judges and are written to govern the practice and procedures in criminal matters. Adopted in accordance with the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure (Pa.R.Crim.P.), these rules govern proceedings in the Criminal Division, magisterial district courts, and Pittsburgh Municipal Court.
